Hello,
I am using the --all and got the "ack-grep: Not working here yet"

Then I looked at the source http://betterthangrep.com/ack-standalone
and found the statement when ack tries to print matches in tar-
files...

Is there any workaround to use "--all" without searching in tar-files?

yeah, I need to fix/release it.

Anyone want to make a quickie fix, including a proper .t test?

xoxo,
Andy

In the meantime, might ack --text work for you?
