There are an awful lot of people out there using the curl install method for ack, like in dockerfiles. https://hub.docker.com/r/pantinor/fuse/~/dockerfile/
When I upgraded the site to https a few weeks ago, that apparently messed up some installs, since the example isn't using curl -L, so it doesn't follow the 301 that I had set up. Oops. Now there's a big note on the install page about it.
Also, I deleted acks 2.00-2.10 which had the eval security vulnerability in them. If anyone has installs for those in their automated whatevers, they're going to fail, and I'm fine with that. That's also been noted on the install page.
