Finally the DPC for 2013-14 is over. 

They have also conducted review DPC for 2012-13. The review DPC is conducted on the basis of review of Cadre review 2001 DPC  done by Pune and Delhi charge after implementing the correct Ry ie 2000-01` and 2001-02 as per the CBDT circular.

But did we forget (???)  many other units are also involved in it and many representation are pending on the draft seniority list which is not finalized yet. So partial modification of seniority list for a particular region is illogical and detrimental to the interest of other regions.

The entire list is going to be changed on NRP implementation. So we should loudly think whether the  Board has done the correct thing in doing review DPC ?

There is another news that the Board is planning conduct the DPC for 2014-15 only to 180 vacancies on the basis of the proposed IRS recruitment rules ie to the extent of direct recruitment done by UPSC this year.  No Cadre Review Vacancies is going to be considered separately.The promotions of the 18/6/2001 ITOs will be completed in the RY 2016-17 only. 

This will result in increase in stagnation level of ITI to ACIT to 25-30 years. We must be aware of the designs of CBDT and ready for fight. Where is the  point in quarreling over the Seniority List if no promotions are expected in the near future?

The scope of promotion as ACIT is much more considering this.  There will be  more than 800  vacancies (202 CRP + 360 in NADT + about 165 regular vacancies in 2014-15 + about 100 deputation vacancies)( Not an exact figure)  

In kerala only 32 ACITs are available against a sanctioned strength of 59.
I request the units to collect the vacancy position in their respective charges and prepare for a fight.  The ACsIT will be holding minimum of 3 to 4 charges hence forth.  

Kindly discuss the issue after careful study.  It is only a loud thought I am presenting above.
