I guess it has been a long time since I've announced an update to the
IPOP code. Last time I checked it was 9.4.5, which is depressing since
this is 9.5.6 and I've released some dozen versions between. Anyway for
anyone that has downloaded recently and noticed that at times IPOP
behaves strange and takes a few moments to recover, this might very well
fix your problem. This version also has several enhancements to that
should reduce memory usage.

Also, we recently received some NSIS source code donations, so maybe
we'll have a 9.5.7 with Windows installer support in the near future. I
should mention that 9.5 has long since entered maintenance mode, and 9.6
will be tested on SocialVPN shortly.

Regards,
David

An NSIS installer will be great news for Windows users. In terms of
platform support I would also like to highlight that there is of course
also a desire for SocialVPN on Mac. If I recall that requires a
re-examination of interactions with the Tun/tap drivers on OS-X due
to difficulties there.
