Is it possible to change the ports?

I'd like to try SocialVPN behind a strict firewall. I can only use
connections via http and https. Is there a way to change the port, so
that the jabber part of social vpn uses Port 443?

That is a legitimate request something that we forgot to make configurable at start-up time. That option will be available in the next release. But for now you can change simply the following line

http://github.com/ptony82/socialvpn/blob/master/src/JabberNetwork.cs#L76

and recompile. If you can give us by the end of the week, that feature will be available in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your interest.

Another issue that you may have is the following:

If you are only allowed to use HTTP/HTTPS on your network (meaning outgoing traffic only to TCP ports 80 and 443) then SocialVPN may not work. Please let us know if you've had any success.

Lastest release of SocialVPN now has support for configurable port numbers (Http port and Jabber port) through a config file called social.config.
