[P2P] Error messages from FutureGrid

Hi all,

While I am using the FutureGrid, I got the following error message
from one site:

Problem: Resource request denied: Error creating workspace(s): network
'public' is not currently available

Problem running 'vm-035'.

I suspect that there is currently no available public IP address to
assign. Any suggestions?
I can request --list and --status options and see the result but when
I am going to run new VM on that site, I got this error message.


Also, I got a different error message from another site.

eomhes@eomhes-desktop:~/Research/FutureGrid/nimbus-cloud-client-020/bin
$ ./cloud-client.sh --status
Querying for ALL instances.

Problem: General error: ; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
=============================================================================
for this site, I can't request any option like --list or --status as
well as --run
Actually, I could run VM for those sites but suddenly don't work.

Do you have any idea on these?

Sometimes FutureGrid has outages, try connecting to a different one such as hotel or foxtrot, or alamo.

alamo and foxtrot site are working well now, but I got those error messages from sierra and hotel respectively.

I will keep trying.

For the public ip problem, in case you are not aware of, you can also
use 'private' mode to get NATed IP address. You can change the setting
at the configuration file's "vws.metadata.association" to private. If
you need to communicate among different site's private IP address
nodes, of course, you can use IPOP. You can access the private IP VM
via the gateway node at each site (e.g., alamo.futuregrid.org) . Hope
it helps your problem.
