i stumbled over some license here :

P.S. I still cant add someone without disabling my virtual
interface ,so deinstall itunes ?

The code used to be GPL, then we decided to go with MIT license. The work is NSF-funded, but the funding does not affect the license.

Do you have other virtual networking devices installed on your machine? There is a file called Brunet.log under Program Files/SocialVPN maybe that can provide some clarification to what is happening.

ok, thanks for the lisencing clarification, no other virtual device,
fresh installed windows XP SP3 with NET 3,5

the german error message means :

"the exsisting connenction has been closed from the remote host "

ERROR: udp_listen_thread: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Eine
vorhandene Verbindung wurde vom Remotehost geschlossen
bei System.Net.Sockets.Socket.ReceiveFrom(Byte[] buffer, Int32
offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags, EndPoint& remoteEP)
