What are the do’s and don’ts to be followed in IELTS Writing ?
1. No abbreviations should be used while writing any task, be it a report writing an essay writing or a letter writing, always right the words in full for example-instead of T.V. write television.
2. Don’t use words like you, me, my, I in the introduction or the actual content while writing an essay, reason being you are been asked about the general opinion about that topic and in conclusion as you are been asked to write your opinion you can always use the words like I, my etc.
3. To begin your conclusion prefer using transitional phrases like hence, therefore, to conclude with to make your conclusion clearly visible.
4. Always write any task in paragraphs. Be it is a letter or a report or an essay.
5. Although we always need to write conclusion be it a report or an essay but if for report writing a report you are been given a diagram then you just need to start it with an introduction and the actual report thereafter in which you need to elaborate the diagram, no need to write a conclusion therein.
