Here's an example from the Montavilla proto-coop of how the CEC might promote working owner roles as flexible mini-internships:

A CEC enews article could look a lot like this, with the additional invitation to bring their own project and a mention of the benefits of being a working owner.
Then there would just need to be someone to orient new members to whatever roles they take on (though ideally with some training and coordination as well), and perhaps someone to provide a letter of reference for projects completed. (Often the subject of such a letter will draft it themselves and let the signer edit. Since it's always most credible from someone with the most substantial sounding title, signing such letters might be something to ask Rachel to do, on ACG letterhead. If such a process is agreeable, it could be used to promote the opportunity to people who need to build their resumes.)
If I had $0.02 for every idea I didn't have time to work on, I could get a beer and you guys would get some peace ;). But if others were to pull this together and coordinate projects, I could help train new people on projects or processes I've been associated with.
