Hey folks,

Here's an agenda for tonight's meeting. There's going to be a lot of interesting ground to cover, so if you're on the fence about coming or haven't been in a while, tonight would be a good night to add the CEC to your agenda.

I'll be there at 6:15 with snacks and to catch up with any new folks or those who haven't been around for a while.

CEC Meeting Agenda

October 17, 6:30pm - 8pm at the BreakHaus (on 15th, behind the co-op)


1. Meet, Greet, Eat (10)


2. Check ins & Action Item Review (5)

There were no action items from the September Meeting


3. Format for Prioritizing Projects - Discussion & Decision (15)

In the September meeting we consented to prioritize projects that the CEC could work together on, rather than everyone working on their own pet project. This discussion is intended to create a process/format for deciding

  • which projects will be prioritized

  • process for following through on those projects (accountability)

  • what to do with lower-priority and “dormant” projects (e.g. the Foodmap)


4. Current Projects: Updates and Descriptions (30)

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee: Update from Ashley

  • ACTIONS NEEDED:

    • Follow up with SEI contact Jackie

    • Staff input re: Internship

    • Staff input re: interrim partnering with SEI: What types of projects, who can coordinate/facilitate? Do staff have interest/hours?


Listening Project - Update from Ashley. See also attachment from Jocelyn

  • ACTIONS NEEDED:

    • determine next steps, goals, timeline

    • recruit WOs, board, staff to assist with those steps  


Living the 7th principle - Update from Francesca (?)

  • ACTIONS NEEDED:

    • Determine whether staff/owners/board “own” this project/donation $$$

      • Touch base with Theresa C (marketing coord)


5. Staff/CEC support - Discussion (15) In Sept. meeting Scott rightly pointed out that no matter what project we elect to support, we won’t be successful without staff support. How can we get that support and what would it look like? What can we offer them in return

What went well? What didn’t?


7. Set Next Meeting Date/Facilitator/Notetaker (5)

Nov. 21 is Thanksgiving. Set alternate date?
