ANNOUNCING THE 2015 BN POERY AWARD 2015 LONGLIST

Dear Friends,

 

It is with pleasure that I announce the long-awaited BN Poetry Award 2015 longlist. Our judges, Professor Antjie Krog of Souh Africa, Richard Ali of Nigeria and Mildred Barya of Uganda, pored over 2,000 poems to come up with this list.The BN Poetry Award, run by Babishai Niwe Poetry Foundation, coordinates annualpoetry competitions for Africans. We are holding a poetry festival from 26 to 28 August at The Uganda Museum and look forward to seeing you there. Our final winners will be announced.
