Hi guys,

attached is the final draft of biotech solutions, the case to be submitted and the corresponding excel sheet. Trang I made some changes in the probability part as the function to be used is NORMSDIST, checked with Brandon on that one, however I didnt ask whether we were right about inserting the formula in there too. I would assume it's correct but have a look at it all and feel free to change the text in the doc. file too.

about the cablevision case, I'll be able to provide some feedback by tomorrow.

cheers,

zeynep

Ooo.  Thanks, Javier!  I just looked at it briefly, in really like/appreciate/agree with your additions.  I'm stuck at a conference all day tomorrow, but I'll be able to give this some proper attention on Thursday.  Just let me know when would work best for discussing the valuation.

All the best,
Sarah

Many thanks for going for the first draft, much appreciated.

I attach a second version with my comments. Regarding the valuation, please have a look to exhibit 14. Once you have had a chance to have a look to this we can discuss the different approaches

Regards

Javier

Here are some initial thoughts for the Continental Cablevision case.  The responses need to be expanded, but I wanted to make sure we had consensus/all of the thoughts, before doing this step.  For the response to Q#4, please see tabs Ex. 14&15, for the calculations as they currently stand.  I definitely need to develop all of this out a bit more, but will be tied up tomorrow and Wednesday.  I can get back to it on Thursday, though!

Hi Zeynep,

Glad you checked with Brandon. I wrote down "normdist" rather than
"normsdist" in the lecture.

The Biotech case write-up looks spot on! Thanks for putting it
together. I'll have a printout of the Biotech case for tomorrow's
submission.

Best,
Trang

Hi!

No problem. Trang and you have contributed more than enough dealing with Arundel and Biotech. Many thanks for that!

Sarah and I will close this tonight and bring a printed copy tomorrow

See you
Javi

Hi Everyone,

I have Cablevision cut down to 3 pages of text (with a bit of exhibit cheating).  Javier - I would still like to touch base with you on some of the points of differentiation that we had, but if not, I can just finish Q4 based off your valuation.  Please let me know if you'll have a bit of spare time to discuss either tonight or tomorrow morning.  Otherwise, I can finish this, print it out and bring it to class.

Wishing you the best,
Sarah

Hi Sarah and Javier,

I am looking at Cablevision as well, and might have some comments and additions. Will try to be as less disruptive as possible given that I am doing this at this late hour.

Hi Kausik,

If you're taking a look, let me send you the most recent version.  If you could give me about 10 minutes, I can send it through (I have been having a hard time with the memory on my computer, so the last version didn't save properly!).

Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Kausik,

I just spoke with Javi over the phone (poor thing - he's still stuck at work!).  He is sending me an updated version of the excel spreadsheet in just a minute and I'm going to incorporate it into the write-up.  Then, I can send a consolidated, updated version to you.

Wishing you the best,
Sarah
