1000 Bike Show

Yes the weather has got cold and the days shorter, this just means the night rides are longer and that the infamous 1000 bike show is on our door step.

 

For those of you that don’t know yet it happens every first weekend of July which is next weekend. This email is to ask for 2 things from the lot of you let’s see who is going to pull through for this day on the town

 

1.       For those of you with more than one scooter in your stable please can I ask you to add one or more to the stand at the 1000 bike this year. Andy had offered to assist us with transport of scooter to and from the show but sadly he is unable to assist, All scooters must be at the Germiston High school on Friday afternoon the 3^rd July and scooter to be collected on Sunday the 5^th July in the mid to late afternoon. Perhaps if any of you are going to bring scooters we meet for a beer on Friday at the school. Please can you reply to me directly if you will be able to assist with a scooter on the stand or not.

 

2.       Ride to the 1000 bike show, I know some of you will make your own way to the show over the weekend but we will also have a group ride to the show on Saturday the 4^th July we will have a few meeting points for this ride but essentially we would like to be at the 1000 bike by round 12 midday, our departure will be from Trio Café (old Odd Café) in greenside at  11:30am sharp, if you not bringing your better looking partners I would suggest you make sure you get yourself a hall pass for the entire day of the 4^th as we often make this event a day night series no strict plans on where we going but there will be some good things happening for sure.

 

Who would like to join us for the ride and who can take their scooter to the school for the stand
