Call for content review and participation
Dear Carl,
Thank you for your ongoing participation and support for Solve Pest Problems. Together, we developed a vision and draft online resource to meet a clearly identified community need.
Thanks to your support, the Solve Pest Problems program is gaining significant momentum with Oregon State University decision makers, the Oregon Legislature, advocacy groups, and the community.
Beginning July 2019 we intend to assemble hundreds of content pages and test our marketing and evaluation tools. As planned, Solve Pest Problems will be publicly available in December, 2020.
We need your help:
* Content review
* Participate as an advisor
* Request for donations and sponsorship
Solve Pest Problems is a collaborative effort to communicate evidence-based information describing pest management and pesticide related topics. Funders and community partners participate in developing content and help with marketing, outreach, and evaluation. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to this effort.

We developed example content pages for stakeholder review.

The content review period is from February 5 - February 24, 2019.
Following the review period, we will integrate your feedback and build additional content pages.
We are convening a technical review committee to review content. We engage government agencies, advocacy organizations, community groups, and individuals for feedback to inform content development and program direction. Advisors may provide guidance throughout the development, launch, and maintenance phases of the program.
* Steering committee (meets monthly via online meeting)
* Advisory Group (meets quarterly in Portland and via online meeting)
* Bi-lingual Latinx Advisory Committee (meets quarterly via online meeting)

We have a working draft website and strong support from funders and community partners. Solve Pest Problems is ready to be built to scale.
We request financial support from government agencies, businesses, and individuals in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest to help us make this important resource available to the public as soon as possible.
Please consider making a donation or becoming a sponsor
Any financial contribution will help us make this extraordinary vision a reality.
