The Seven Cities of Gold was published by Electronic Arts in 1984. The
player takes the role of a late-15th century explorer for Spain,
setting sail to the New World in order to explore the map and interact
with the natives in order to win gold and please the Spanish court.
The name derives from the "seven cities" of Quivira and Cíbola that
were said to be located somewhere in the American Southwest.

This was Sandee's favorite game and she played it even more than I
did!

The game originally shipped for the Atari 400/800, which was the only
"full" version of the original release. Versions for the Commodore 64
and Apple II were released soon after in the same year. This was
followed by a version for the Apple Macintosh and Commodore Amiga in
1985, and the IBM PC in 1987. All of these versions can be considered
ports of the original "classic" version on the Atari. The game won the
"Strategy Game of the Year" award from Computer Gaming World's 1985
reader poll, and sold over 100,000 copies.

In 1993 a new version was released for the IBM PC running under DOS.
The DOS remake made many changes to the original game, and is more
appropriately viewed as a reconceptualization of the gameplay than as
a simple cosmetic makeover.

No, that's a new one for me.  Anyone else know anything?

I am not able to find any reference to.
I belive it was called Mar Tizaro? It was a game where you were a deep
sea treasure hunter. You would have to purchase a boat with some
variation of a diving rig on it and fuel for how ever many days you
were going treasure hunting....

Have you ever heard of it?

Thanks!
