Outreach AdHoc Meeting, November 29, 2010, Kamia Residence Hall,
5:30pm

Eto yung napag-usapan:

1) December 12, San Roque community (near Pisay), in partenership with
USC
-Immersion at community (AM), programme (PM)
-goods collection (delata, bigas, used clothing, noodles, jamon and
other Christmas handa ingredients, stuffed toys, old books, notebooks
and other school supplies, medicine, candy) per dorm to be collected
before December 9.
-money donation boxes per dorm
-pansit and juice (kung may funds, we have USC’s help naman eh)
-pub…title (ask help from pub comm)
-collection of money via caroling (room to room) ng mga welfare
committees (dadalhin ang mga pubmat) December 1 through 9, para sa 10
ipoopool na ang pera for stuff…
-programme:
>Opening remarks
>Presentation from ACD people (nagdidistrubute na ng food)
>Games
>Presentation from Community
>Distribution of goods
>Closing remarks
-sound system (c/o Kamia)
-permits (c/o adhoc comm.)
-stage deco (ask help from socio comm)

2) January 15 Scrabble clinic (whole day in partnership w/ Scrabble
club), January 22 Inter-elementary school Scrabble tournament
-permits, letters (to schools, to Scrabble Club, to venues, c/o adhoc
comm)
-pubmats (c/o Scrabble Club)
-probable venue (tournament): CHK, Kalai MPH, (clinic): dorms or
schools
-Participating Schools: KNL, Balara, Commonwealth, UPIS, Batino
-snacks (both occasions, juice and let’s make sandwiches! c/o welfare
and food committee members of all dorms)
-one team per school, 4 boards on a team (people)
-Reg fee: wala nalang daw, iraraise dapat ng dormers (welfare
committees), we have to raise at least 300 php per dorm via food sale
or any sale.
-Prize: 1,000php for the winning team, consolation prize: school
supplies
