Accursed Kickstarter Pledge Levels

Hello guys,

We're asking you for a little help to make sure we get things off to a good start. Please take a quick look at the pledge levels we've come up with for the Accursed RPG kickstarter. We're looking for feedback on ways to improve these pledge levels!

 

Here’s what we’ve come up with for the Accursed launch:

Note: The Accursed core book is 144 pages, full colour. The player’s guide is the first 96 pages of that.

Kickstarter Backing Levels

Denizen - $1

Thank you for your interest and support! You will receive a working draft of the Accursed Player’s Guide PDF immediately upon pledging.

Penitent - $5

Thanks for your interest and support! Your name (or your character's name) will be added to the list of Penitents, within the Core Rulebook.
You will receive a working draft of the Accursed Player’s Guide PDF immediately upon pledging.

Witchmarked - $10

In addition to previous awards, you receive a PDF copy of the completed Accursed Player's Guide for Savage Worlds (96 pages). This includes game world information and the rules necessary to create a character.

Accursed - $ 20

In addition to previous awards, you receive a PDF copy of Accursed for Savage Worlds (144 pages). This includes all of the material in the Player's Guide, as well as information on running a campaign in the setting.

Accursed Association- $ 25

In addition to previous awards, you receive a permission to distribute up to five copies of the Accursed Players Guide for Savage Worlds to the members of your gaming group.

Accursed Scroll - $30

In addition to previous awards, you receive a print coupon for a print copy of Accursed for Savage Worlds through RPGNow.com.

Chosen of the Order - $50

In addition to previous awards, you receive the Shaintar/Accursed Crossover PDF and the Primeval Thule PDF, PLUS two additional PDFs of your choice from either the completed stretch goals or from the Melior Via PDF selections, such as Hope Prepratory Academy.

Champion of the Order - $75

In addition to previous awards, you receive PDFs of all completed stretch goals!

Defender of Morden - $125

(Limited to 18)

In addition to previous awards, one of the creators will run a four-hour game session of Accursed at Gen Con 2014. The game session may include up to a total of six players.

Ranger of Morden - $150

(Limited to 9)

In addition to previous awards, one of the creators will run a four-hour game session of Accursed for you and your gaming group over Skype. This game session may include up to a total of six players.

Witch-Foe - $200

(Limited to 10)

In addition to previous awards, you get to create a piece of the Accursed setting! You can either create a town somewhere in Morden or one of the islands in the Discordian Sea, working with the creators to bring another piece of Accursed to life.

Witch-Bane - $250

(Limited to 10)

In addition to previous awards, you get to create an important personality in the Accursed setting! You get to design a non-player character, one of the movers and shakers in the world of Morden. Is he a friend or foe? You get to decide! In addition, your character will get his own illustration in the book.

Bane of the Coven - $500

(Limited to 3)

In addition to previous awards, the creators of the Accursed setting will personally design an adventure for you and your gaming group!

Curse-Breaker - $1000

(Limited to 3)

In addition to previous awards, you get to design and create a Witch, one of the major forces of the Accursed setting! Your Witch will have a full writeup and unique illustration in the book.

Supreme Master of Curses - $10000

(Limited to 3)

In addition to previous awards, you will get to go on a tour of a haunted castle in Scotland, courtesy of Geek Nation Tours! The tour also includes a personal game session run by one of the creators of Accursed tailored especially for you, an adventure whose outcome has a significant impact on the Accursed world.

Add-ons:

Print - $10

Adds on to Witchmarked or higher.

Alternate Rules Versions  - $5

Hero, Pathfinder, FATE (free substitution for SW PDF, or $5 add on for each one).

Bonus PDFs - $5

Bonus PDF 1: Shaintar Crossover Setting/Adventure

Bonus PDF 2: Primeval Thule Adventure

Some clarification may be needed here due to the items that I've highlighted. Is there a potential for 3 total sessions then since it's 6 people to a session and the level is limited to 18 people?

The same thing can be said of this level. A bit more clarification. Are you potentially running 9 different sessions with up to 6 players each? Is this 1 game session and 3 people could lose out (I am sure that's not the case here).

This section may require a bit more clarity as well. "Print - $10: Adds on to Witchmarked or higher": Which book/book(s) is this referring to? Can you get 1 for $10 or all for $10 (again, I know better but am simply illustrating what I mean).

Great clarification added to the "Alternate Rules Versions" - I recommend something similar for the "Bonus PDFs - $5" to say "Bonus PDFs - $5 each" or something like that.

If only I had a spare thousand laying around XD

Maybe sweeten the lower ($30, at a random stab) levels with high-res PDFs of the character artwork? Give immediate incentive to the "lowest common denominator" backers that will very likely make up the majority of the pledges. I know a lot of forum warriors love them some artbooks, even if it's digital.

PS: If the possibility is there, you could also do a legit hardcopy Artbook for the $200+ crowd. Just a thought. People pay that much for collectors editions of stuff all the time, which usually include artbooks.
