Job Description: Cyber Security - Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions to safeguard organizational assets and ensure secure access to systems and data. This role involves working with various IAM technologies, enforcing security policies, and supporting compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• IAM Solution Design & Implementation:
• Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions to control user access and maintain security across the organization.
• Configure and deploy IAM systems, including identity governance, access control, and privileged access management.
• Access Management:
• Manage user identities, roles, and permissions across multiple systems and applications.
• Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance security.
• Policy Enforcement & Compliance:
• Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM systems to ensure adherence to security policies and identify potential risks.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
• Respond to and investigate IAM-related security incidents, including unauthorized access attempts and policy violations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access and authentication in a timely manner.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Collaborate with IT, security teams, and other stakeholders to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Provide support and training to end-users and administrators on IAM best practices and security procedures.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Generate and analyze reports on access control and IAM system performance to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience in managing IAM solutions and technologies, including user provisioning, authentication, and access control.
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Okta, or similar technologies.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, and other authentication technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot IAM issues effectively.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar are preferred.
