Job Title: Systems Design and Support Specialist - Oracle R12

 

Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Design and Support Specialist with 6 years of experience in the functional areas of Service Contracts, Install Base, Field Services, and Depot Repair. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle R12, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of business processes. This role requires exceptional troubleshooting abilities, customer service acumen, and the capability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Design and Implementation:
    • Design, implement, and support systems related to Service Contracts, Install Base, Field Services, and Depot Repair.
    • Manage and execute a variety of implementations in different environments to ensure effective system functionality.
  • Oracle R12 Expertise:
    • Utilize strong experience with Oracle R12 to address system issues, enhance functionalities, and support business processes.
    • Apply best practices in Oracle R12 to optimize system performance and ensure efficient operations.
  • Business Process and Transaction Analysis:
    • Analyze and optimize business processes related to Service Contracts, Install Base, Field Services, and Depot Repair.
    • Provide transaction analysis to identify and resolve issues across various functional areas.
  • Troubleshooting and Coordination:
    • Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate with systems staff to resolve problems efficiently.
    • Provide support for system-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Customer Service and Training:
    • Demonstrate strong customer service skills, responding to user inquiries and issues with professionalism and effectiveness.
    • Train users on system tools and functionalities, ensuring they are equipped to use the tools effectively.
    • Distribute and communicate best practices and usage guidelines for system tools.
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of management and technical staff to ensure clear understanding of system needs and issues.
    • Document system configurations, processes, and issues to maintain comprehensive records and support future troubleshooting efforts.
  • Self-Motivation and Flexibility:
    • Exhibit self-motivation and willingness to work long hours and off-hours as needed to support system operations and resolve critical issues.
    • Apply a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6 years of experience in Systems Design Implementation and Support, specifically in Service Contracts, Install Base, Field Services, and Depot Repair.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience with Oracle R12, including various implementations and support scenarios.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Business Process Skills: Solid understanding of business processes related to the functional areas mentioned.
  • Customer Service: Proven customer service acumen and ability to handle user inquiries and support needs effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and technical staff.
