Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, data modeling, and Python. This role involves developing and managing data solutions, implementing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Snowflake Development:
• Design, develop, and manage Snowflake data solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and ensure efficient data processing.
• ETL and Data Pipeline Management:
• Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) to develop and maintain transformation workflows.
• Implement and manage data pipelines using Airflow for scheduling and orchestration.
• Data Modeling:
• Design and implement data models that support scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data schemas, tables, and relationships to meet business requirements.
• Python Development:
• Use Python for data processing, scripting, and automation tasks.
• Develop Python-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of data solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and systems.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization:
• Monitor data pipelines and workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Implement best practices for data management and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and data engineering.
• Propose and implement improvements to data processes and workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Snowflake development, data engineering, or a related role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Snowflake and experience with Snowflake features and utilities.
• Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Expertise in data modeling and schema design.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
