I have MySql5 installed and log-bin option was *not* set as default !
for active that, I found [mysqld] section
on[C:/rootOfMySqlInstallationPath/my.ini] then I've add below text
after that:
log-bin=C:/rootOfMySqlInstallationPath/data
then restart the mysql service for see the effect. (log-bin.000001 on /data)
In my cases , I prefer to have entire database as one.sql file by
updating .sql file instead of work with phpMyAdmin , (also phpMyAdmin
has limitation for work with sql files more than 2MB) .
