Dear Colleagues and Possible Interested Parties,

Professor Radha Misra ( misr...@gmail.com ) of SNDT Women's University, Pune, may be wanting to join the exciting, potentially emerging, planning group for women's educational advancement: first in India, where IPP may decide to field its Asian or International HQ, initially remotely.

If IPP is to lend its support to the women's education development project/program, that program must clearly be associated with us, such as including  International Professors in the title of this initiative.

We have spent considerable time in suggesting and following it. Therefore our board will need to be apprised of its existence before the end of February. Also, please inform us if you want to eventually add a public health and/or human rights arm to the women's edu advancement group, which has had an evolving name metamorphosis, since I originally suggested such a group, early in 2010.

This group has had a few fitful false starts since Jan. 2010, so  IPP wants to now try to ensure it has launched a sound international recruiting  and promotional campaign, followed by our instructional design team's involvement in June, led by Smitha Mohan
( smo...@internationalprofs.org ), an IID specialist, and the head of  IPP's Instructional Design Center ( IDC ).

Monique Kennedy, our HR team leader, will begin to involve an HR Recruitment team and marketing people in April, if the women's  group springs to life  with documented, detailed progress.

Please keep Sudha Balan, our executive director, in the women's group loop. She will not be a member of  your group, but is your temporary  IPP contact person, until she appoints an IPP leader to work with this ambitious endeavor, if it officially launches by 15 April.
( sba...@intwernationalprofs.org )

For related work, please see:
http://the choice.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/22/conference

Some of you you have expressed an interest in becoming an International Professors Fellow. If you wish to become a fellow before April, please send us your bio note, such as you find displayed on the OUR PEOPLE page of our website.

We also warmly invite applicants to serve as advisers to IPP's leadership, in general, as well as specifically for advice re  IPP's promotion of women's group --- which is to oversee itself.

Kind regards,
Ron Krate,Ph.D.
