Help with making a keyboard shortcut

Hello everyone I am trying to figure out how to make a keyboard shortcut to skip to the next song in an auto mix. For example if I have an auto mix list playing at a wedding say during dinner and for some reason I need to skip to the next song.  As a sighted person all you need to do is double click the next song in the auto mix list and it will automatically fade into the next song. Now as a blind user I have not figured out how to make this happen. I was told by virtual Dj that you can create a keyboard shortcut to preform this but I honestly don’t know how. Can anyone help me with this thanks.

Hi, on the page below, navigate to automix and you'll find the actions you can perform.
I'd suggest trying:
mix_now
or
mix_next

P.S. In the Mallmuzik/help file repository, you'll find the "pads" folder containing the "Automix Live.xml" file. Download it and paste it into:
appdata/local/virtualdj/pads
Now you'll be able to select this pads page with keyboard shortcuts, and then use Pad3; it should execute mix_now.

Hi. Thanks for the info. I downloaded the pad files and put them in the folder they needed to go in, but when I go into the pad manager, I don't see them, even after closing and restarting the mallmuzik software. Also, I don't know a thing about vdj script, so if someone could give me some guidance on this, I'd be most greatful. Thanks for any help.

Read the "-- Pad Page Commands --" section on this page.
Then use the keyboard shortcuts:
Shift+w to switch the numeric row to PadPages
Ctrl+equals (on a laptop) to cycle through PadPages until you hear "automix live"
Ctrl+3 to perform the Pad3 mix-now action
