Hi Peter,
Firstly I would like to thank you for all your efforts. I am now able to produce my own mixes and post them on Mixcloud.
This was unheard of back in the early 2000s or even late 2000s.
I would like to ask one thing, How can I change a key combination? For instance, alt control shift and see is a bit difficult to do if you’re mixing something like drum and bass and you need quick cross fade actions. What would be the best way to assign another key combination for instance, alt shift up or down arrows?
Another small question I have is, sometimes the sink function goes a little bit crazy, it starts to automatically assign a first beat to the second beat of the first bar or maybe even later. How can I go about bringing virtual DJ back to his senses? Is there a way to do that? last question, are there any ways that I could possibly reach affect perimeter using the standard keyboard layout? Could I possibly assign some keys to this?
Thanks once again
Regards,
DJ reál.

Hello
1. To change keyboard shortcuts you need to know the VDJ script language. In documents/virtualDJ/mappers or custom mappers there are keyboard mapping files you would have to modify them to your needs. Just remember to check if the keyboard shortcut is not taken.

Here are all the shortcuts for the audio crosfader:
COMMA : Move the audio crossfade to the Left.
PERIOD : Move the audio crossfade to the Right.
CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + C : Reset All Crossfaders to Center Position.
ALT + SHIFT + LEFT : Move Audio Crossfader full to the left.
ALT + SHIFT + RIGHT : Move Audio Crossfader full to the right.
Check out the Bluefox keyboard, see if you can find what you need there.

2. Do you mean selecting a starting cue point? Can't you insert it manually? Or do you just want it to be better inserted automatically?

3. I didn't understand what you mean, write more.
Regards Zenek

Hello again.
What I meant was, when you load a track into deck one or deck two. You press control plus Alt and B to beat match them. Once you press control plus P or alt plus P to play the track it will automatically skip the first beat.
This happens, regardless Even if I were to press B to set the first beat it still does it occasionally. How can I prevent this from happening.
It becomes frustrating sometimes, as you have to load another track into that particular turntable, then reload the track you initially loaded.

The "b" key goes to the first beat that the analysis algorithm detects.
This machine sometimes works better and sometimes worse depending on the track and the beat.

You should use the Cue point as the starting point.

To set the starting point use the "q" key this key stops the track, but not only. When the track is playing the "q" key will stop the track and go to the starting point. When the track is stopped and at the starting point the "q" key will play it as long as it is held. When the track is not playing and not at the starting point the "q" key will set the starting point there.
If you don't like the starting point pause somewhere else and then press "q"

To rewind the track use F10 or Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down arrows to select a unit and then ctrl or Alt and Left/Right arrows
PS instead of using Ctrl+Alt+b and then Ctrl+p or Alt+p you can use Ctrl+Shift+p or Alt+Shift+p these shortcuts play and try to automatically sync the tracks.
All the best Zenek
