I have my intel x86 Surface Pro 7 I set everything up, I open up Virtual DJ 2026 so it could read my new DJ controller which is the Reloop Mixtour Pro, and my headphones and everything worked great I had Jaws and precuing connecting through the headphone jack of course so people can't hear Jaws, I have the DJ controller connected to a USB3 port I replicate that same way exactly on my Mac M4 Air but I can't assign anything to the audio configuration because it is blank. I am still new to this on my Mac so can someone please help?

Hi, can you elaborate on the issues?
Is your Reloop detected as an audio card in iOS?
Can't you edit the audio configuration in Mallmuzik?
Perhaps you should create a new audio configuration by pressing Shift+n.

Best regards, Zenek

I have it connected to my M4 Macbook Air, it works fine in my headphones, yes I created a new auio configuration I saw master, mic andall the others but when I either return or VO+ space to get to where I could assign the master to the reloop mixtour pro  it isn't there, I find that weird, yes I am using the Reloop Mixtour pro as a sound card, I have theUSBC plugged into the Mac, the AUX plugged  into an Amp with Speakers,My headphones are connected to the Macs headphone jack so I could hear Voice Over without the crowd hearing it and to preview tracks, I did close Mall Music and opened Virtual DJ so the audio configuration could detect the Reloop mixtour pro but still not in the audio configuration

Hi, unfortunately I don't have a Mac device, so I can't confirm this, but setting up the audio configuration in MallMuzik on a Mac probably doesn't work well.
You need to use OCR for VO and be very lucky to set up audio devices for VDJ.

I would try the following workaround.
You need to find the settings.xml file in the virtualdj folder. Edit this file in Notepad, and you'll find the audio configuration section at the beginning.
Try copying and pasting the configuration for your own hardware.

Set up one device for test configuration 1, for example, the master Reloop.
Then edit the settings.xml file by copying this device to the second, normal configuration 1, and save the changes.

Then return to MallMuzik and, for test configuration 1,
first remove the master Reloop.

Then set up the MacBook headphones and edit the settings.xml file again to copy this device to the normal configuration 1.

Repeat the steps for the microphone and other devices. Maybe this slow process will allow you to build a Normal1 configuration that has all the necessary devices.

The entries in this section contain the system IDs of the audio devices, followed by the channel assignments and the input/output type.

You can even change the name to "headphones" instead of "master," and maybe it will work.
If the audio devices are recognized by VDJ, it should work. Good luck and best regards, Zenek.

configuring audio on MacOs is exactly the same as it on windows.
you don't need to close MallMuzik and run VDJ. you can start VDJ from MallMuzik, and then close VDJ and then go to the audio configuration option in MallMuzik.
it seems odd that it is not seeing your audio device. does it see any audio devices such as the built in Mac audio output?
does VDJ work default with your controller audio?
you could make sure that 'createMidiLog' is set to 'Yes' in VDJ options

Hi,

I can confirm this issue. To reproduce it:

  1. Open the Audio Configuration window.

  2. Add a configuration using Shift+N.

  3. When trying to add a new device using the A keyboard shortcut, the device selection table is empty.

I have “Create MIDI Log” set to Yes.
