Hello,

I’m a final year undergraduate of Department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I would like to participate in GSoC 2013.  I’m interested in your project idea “Browser Extensions to Submit and Display Accessibility Metadata”. I have done some project using JavaScript during my academic and Industrial training periods. I hope my knowledge and experiences are capable enough to do this project.

Also I went through the documentations you have provided with the project idea and some other web sites. Now I have some basic idea about metadata, paradata, and learning registry.

Now I’m going to study about developing browser extensions. In the title of your project idea you have mentioned “Browser Extensions to Submit and Display Accessibility Metadata”. In here do we need to develop extensions for all browsers?

Thanks and Regards,

We don't need extensions for all browsers, but in order of preference I would do Firefox, IE, Safari and Chrome based on use by blind users and developers.  I look forward to seeing your proposal.
