1) for the linux users ncftp should be removed from your machines, it can't
even access
https://sourceforge.net/ without throwing an unknown host error.
A better alternative is lftp.
2) accessible-coconut has a beta release on
sourceforge.net now.

3) unfortunately any .sha256sum files to check download integrity are either
missing or well hidden by
sourceforge.net.
4) since many of us have horrible internet I don't recommend downloading any
distro where integrity checking files are either missing or well hidden.
5) I tried access with ncftp and later lftp to see if I could find those
integrity checking files and had no luck with lftp same as was the case with
lynx.
