to Accessible-Coconut
Hi all,

i started using accessible coconut after a while now and have a few suggestions and questions:
1. In terms of recording, are there any alternatives to audacity under linux wich are good to use for us? I think the orca support of audacity is very limited at the moment, so I thought i'd ask on here. In the slint mailing list, there are not so many people who record something with the computer, so maybe a have more luck on here. I use slint as well.
2. I wanted to switch the language of AC to german and it says under language support that it is installed, but each time I select it and hit apply, it jumps back onto english. Any ideas what I can do?
3. I wanted to enter a full console and pressed ctrlüalt+f3 for example, but I don't have speech. In slint, i heared speech right after entering that, what is to do?
4. Now onto the suggestions:
- Nama is a fully accessible CLI-based DAW, maybe that would be a nice addition for AC?
- It might be cool to have one or more podcast clients in AC. I know Gpodder is good to use, for example but there might be more.
- addidtions to the user guide regarding the terminal and console would be helpful for beginners.
And a last question:
Does AC come shipped with additional environments other than mate? Emacs speak could be nice for example. I know a lot of things can be installed from the user, but I think to have some things pre-installed of these would be cool as well. BTW: The audiogame manager and Linux game manager for the blind could be nice additions as well in regards to games, as well as speakup as another option for a console screen reader.
It is a very nice distro and I hope you keep up the great work on it. And it is cool that you are counting in the game and entertainment aspects, that makes the computer more fun, so please keep this up as well.

best regards
Niklas
