previous dates value

Hi, I want to write a query that will display all values of a table and additionally display the previous months value in the table. How can do this?

 

original table fields:

 

Client  Monthly Date  Transaction value

 

Query output fields:

 

Client  Monthly Date  Transaction value         Previous mth Transaction Value
