Quick question, I was trying to run my NEMA 23 with a CNC 2M542 Stepper Motor Driver Controller
and AccelStepper::DRIVER wouldn't work but AccelStepper::FULL2WIRE does.

I was wondering what the difference was and if there was any downside to it.

Thanks!

Hello,

That controller certainly looks like it should use DRIVER.
I would not expect such a device to work correctly when set to FULL2WIRE.

Did you have Step and Direction wired round the right way?

Cheers.

As it turns out I did had the wires backwards for DRIVER but it works both ways for FULL2WIRE, but it's slower and there's more steps per rev.

OK. AS I said, I would not expect such a device to work correctly when set to
FULL2WIRE.
