New Public API Documentation

Hi all,

We are pleased to announce the release of our new, overhauled public API docs, which are available here. As well as containing more up-to-date information, we aimed to make these docs more informative, easier to navigate, and easier to read than the old ones. We also aim to keep these documents current, and have included a changelog to track changes as they are implemented. 

Since the body of the new documentation is just basic markdown, we are considering making them open source, so anyone can add to them. If you are interested in this please let us know through this form. In the meantime, please let us know of any mistakes or errors you notice.

There still seems to be a dearth of json examples.

I would be very useful to see a strong collection of examples for:

fetching fields,

filtering

pushing fields

I find the filtering particularly problematic as its not exactly intuitive :)

I agree that our examples are a bit sparse here, I will look to have some more fleshed out examples added with the next documentation update.

On the expense endpoint, it looks like when creating an expense, the proper way to mark billable as yes / no is actually 1 / 0. It could be valuable to add that note on that.

Agreed, this would certainly be worthwhile to note, I'll look to update this (and have a look around for any other potential oversights).
