Using add@ instead of log@ for Email Capture

One issue we face is receiving emails from Accelo contacts who have CC'ed someone from another organization that's not part of our Accelo yet. Accelo does not automatically pull those CC'ed individuals in, and it's kind of a pain to add them.

 

I realized that if reply in Gmail and bcc a...@yourdomain.accelo.com, all TO and CC members are added.

 

Support docs discuss adding l...@yourdomain.accelo.com to log all activities sent from Gmail to Accelo; however, that doesn't add contacts.

 

If I make that add@, it seems like it comes to what I want: an easier way to add new contacts, and adds activities to the stream.

Before I do this, are they any negative consequences I'm not appreciating? Has anyone done this?
