·        Are we allowed access/extract data from data base/source?

 

·        Is it possible to automate full export on a daily basis?

Accelo's Power BI integration is currently in the final stage of its beta phase, and as a result, we recommend contacting be...@accelo.com for inquiries regarding this integration, as well as to join the beta program.

Otherwise, to answer your questions:

• Are we allowed access/extract data from data base/source?
  

• Yes, through both Power BI you're able to pull information that's stored in your Accelo account into Power BI for reporting purposes.  This information can also be extracted directly via our public API for other uses.
  
  

• Is it possible to automate full export on a daily basis?
  

• Yes, Power BI allows you to schedule an automatic, daily refresh of data through services like Accelo.
  
  
• Are we able to have access to the schema?
  Yes.  The Power BI integration makes data available to your in Power BI in the same table formats that's used within the Accelo database.  More specific documentation on the database schema is not available, however.
  
  
• Can we have the PBIX files or Power BI Desktop file?
  In order to ensure that we can accurately curate and support the reporting experience, Accelo's Power BI integration is only offered through their cloud product.  This means that the PBIX file and desktop environment won't be necessary in order to create reports in Power BI based on your Accelo data.
