Hi All,

I am a relatively new user of Accelo and am loving the CRM component of the system. I like having the ability to use the campaigns to get info out to clients really efficiently.

I am struggling, though, on the best way to slice and dice my CRM. Here are a couple of ways I would like to filter the Companies/Contacts:

1. I want to see who is a web design client and who is a digital marketing client (we have two primary service lines - good to know who is using which). Or if I need to put out a maintenance alert to clients, I want to only contact web design clients.
2. In "Campaigns" I want to build a list of just the primary client contact, not all the Accounts Payable, etc.

Any suggestions? Any other best practices tips anyone wants to share regarding leveraging the CRM?

Thanks!
Kristen

Companies can utilize tags, which sound best as you can apply as many as you like.

Edit Campaign > Filter List (top right) > unfortunately will not pick up tags!

You will have to make a custom field for all your customers, and search by that, I think.
Thank you very much!

Hi Kristen,

I'd suggest you first create create a new category and add two options, Yes and No. You can then apply these to the relevant contacts as you go.

Then in the campaign you can filter the list by primary contact and any other options you've setup.
