Dear Member,
Subject: National registration of Professional Engineers
I draw your kind attention to the mail sent by this office on 29th March, 2016 in respect of National Registration of Professional Engineers. Most members have received invites from three organizations namely Institution of Engineers, Engineering Council of India and CEAI. To make ACCE (I) stand clear as to with which organization ACCE(I) members should register, this subject matter was deliberated at length during the recently held GC meeting at Bangalore on 29th April, 2016. Based on the deliberations held following decision were taken.
1. Members are free to make their own decision in respect of national registration of professional engineers and the organization with which they need to register with.
2. However, ACCE (I), as Member Associate of ECI, recommends registration with ECI (I) based on the deliberations held during the GC meeting.
3. All those members who wish to register with ECI (I) are requested to visit ECI(I) website, download necessary forms and send it through courier to ACCE(I) HQ on or before 15th June, 2016, along with all the requisite attachments and the subscription fees in the name of ECI(I)-DD only. These applications will be scrutinized at HQ and forwarded to ECI (I) with recommendation and seal. This will help to avail the discounted fee structure as a member of ACCE (I).
Kindly note that the discounted fee structure is now extended from 31st March, 2016 to 30th June, 2016 as a special gesture to Member Associations of ECI only.
4. Fellow Members who wish to avail the Grand Father Clause benefit are also requested to fill in the registration form and send it to ACCE (I)-HQ along with prescribed fees before 30th June, 2016.
