Engineers bill need of the hour

India doesn't need human bombs to kill people. Kolkata flyover under construction collapsed and killed 200 people I got to know. Do you know one thing non of the engineers who may be responsible for the accident if at all, can not be punished under IPC. At the most they can be penalised under civil act. If the Professional engineers act were there like in other countries, the PE at the first instance would be more careful as he would be punished. Probably series of governments didn't bother to enact professional engineers bill as mostly the politicians survive on petty commission from illiterate contractors and engineers accept to any nonsense as they can not be fixed.
I have been writing about the need for engineers act to be brought by our law makers.
If 100 people were killed in Paris millions of Indians showed their solidarity through social media.
I call upon my fellow Indians to raise flag and support the push for engineers act. Only educated middle class can force this government to enact engineers bill and save 1000s of lives every year save billions of tax payers money for effective spending. Jai Hind. P. SURYAPRAKASH.
