Dear Engineering friends and Friends of Engineers,
If you or your friends are members of Institution of Engineers India  (IEI) such as AMIE MIE OR FIE. ..Read on..
Now election for IEI council is on. Civil Engineering division has 5 positions and I am happy to inform I am one of the 41 contestants for 5 positions. Election is on line and also by postal ballot. If you vote in both means postal ballot only is counted. You can expect the ballot soon.
I have been working with various organisations to realise the dream of command and demand for the deserving respect, role and responsibility and of course accountability for Civil Engineering and Civil engineers in built environment.
I feel I would be able to achieve my target faster if I can represent IEI. In the absence of Engineers Act IEI is the only body which can shoulder the responsibility of regulation and monitoring engineers and engineering profession. IEI has all the infrastructure and mechanism to conduct continuing Professional development of Chartered engineers and PEs or IPEs .
Hence I decided to work for IEI and through IEI for our civil engineering fraternity in particular and engineering fraternity in general.
Request you to involve all members to participate in exercising their vote. Spread message about need to rejuvenate our premier engineering body to benefit our fraternity.
