Subject: [AVTlist] Details of the new AVT email list

The new Accessible Voting Technology mailing list was created for the sharing of accessible voting technology (AVT) related research, events, and information. Contributors to this list include researchers, election officials, manufacturers, advocacy groups, and others interested in the accessibility of voting technology and processes.

All subscribers are welcome to post relevant information and announcements to the list.  Please encourage others to subscribe, post, and contribute to discussions on this list.  More information can be found on the general list information page.

The membership list is available to all subscribers of avtlist.  The membership list can be emailed to you by sending an email to avtlist...@nist.gov.  The text of this email should only include 1 line: “who ”, followed by your password. If you do not know your password, you can retrieve it by following the instructions below (excluding step #4).  If you prefer to have your email address hidden from the membership list, follow the instructions below (excluding step #3).

1.       Visit the general list information page.

2.       To view your member preferences, scroll down to the “avtlist Subscribers” section at the bottom of the page.  Enter your email address in the last text box, then click the “Unsubscribe or edit options” button.  This will take you to your subscription options page.

3.       Forgotten password: If you do not know your password, you can have it emailed to you by clicking the “Email My Password To Me” button in the “Your avtlist Password” section.

4.       Hide your email address: If you want to hide your email address from the members list, scroll down to the “Conceal yourself from subscriber list?” option in the “Your avtlist Subscription Options” section. Select “Yes” to hide your email address.  At the bottom of the page, click the “Submit My Changes” button.

if you have any questions, send an email to avtlis...@nist.gov.
