02:33 The first attack on Nis was around midnight. Explosions weren't that
strong. The second attack came around 01:30, we heard planes first, then
several explosions. Planes could be heard for a while afterwards, so we went
to the shelter. Now that we're back, we can see a reflection of a fire (big)
in the sky, if you look from Palilula towards N-W. I think they hit the
tobacco factory.
02:15 Jagodina - Two extremely strong explosions were heard around 2:00 from
the direction of Cuprija.
02:13 Skopje (Macedonia) - planes over the city, last 15 minutes.
02:09 German TV ARD: A plane was shot down over Belgrade, eyewitnesses found
a pilot's seat, "Novosti" reports. Bravo AAA, we want more!! 02:01 Vevcani
(Macedonia) - Every 15 minutes from western Macedonia they are flying
towards Albania.
01:50 Two explosions in Jagodina! Most of the city is without power, so I
can't say what was hit.
01:48 International Court in Hague will report its decision tomorrow (June
2nd) at 10:00, concerning the case of Yugoslavia VS Nato countries.
Yugoslavia asked the Court to order Nato to stop the bombing, since it is in
violation of international laws.

army barracks area, and 5 minutes later

Columns of smoke can be seen from both locations. In the Boljevac Forest,
the targets were the last remaining high
voltage power lines which served to send electricity to
Belgrade.

Ahtisaari said that he is not sure that their proposal will be accepted, but
that they tried to make it acceptable for all parties involved.
Common position has been agreed on, and together we will seek a solution to
end the conflict, and we'll work on it (Chernomyrdin).
Talbott: We worked hard. My government, along with everyone else, is
interested in finding a solution.
Q: Which are the basic elements of the solution?
Ahtisaari: I think a solution was found that is acceptable for politicians
in Belgrade. It is based on all previously made decisions - Nato, G-8, UN,
but we can't go into details now.
Q: What is new?
A: I think it is important that all the solutions are based on G-8
principles. We made true progress. Press conference is finished.

20:25 Belgrade - Yugoslav AAA shot down a Nato plane and another drone on
Tuesday over Kosovo and Metohia, Radio Belgrade reported. The airplanes was
of a type A-10, and it crashed on the Petrovec airport in Macedonia.

17:50 One of the planes used in yesterday's unsuccessful attack on Sabac,
crashed yesterday afternoon near Bijeljina !
17:10 A BBC correspondant from Albania (near Morina) reports that this
afternoon dozens of bombs were thrown by Nato on the Albanian army located
in that area. As a result, everyone ran in panic, including soldiers and
journalists who eyewitnessed the whole thing.

15:50 I spoke today with my parents' neighbor, he's from the north Backa
regoin. He and others found white spongy substance in their fields; it's
full of larvae which are multiplying very quickly. It is still unknown what
kind of damage it can inflict on crops, but it's been sent away to be
analyzed. The only thing that's sure so far is that those thigs fell from
the "democratic" Nato planes... As soon as I have more info, I'll call. Did
anyone else (in the Southern Banat, maybe) notice the same things?

15:42 Novi Sad is quiet, but leaflets full of grammatical errors are
all over the sky. One of them fell at my neighbors' so I'm going to go
look....
14:34 After the attacks on the energy system, the power
situation in Yugoslavia is catastrophic! The power plant in Obrenovac will
have to be closed, because it has nowhere to send the power, since main
power stations in Belgrade are
either heavily damaged or not working, as are other
power stations in the country, for example in Nis or Novi Sad.
The situation is extremely alarming and everyone has to understand that!!!
Hospital patients and regular citizens are
the most dependent on power supply. Only one third
of hospitals have their own alternative power supplies.
Everyone knows how necessary water is for human survival. Without power, it
will be impossible to even purify the water
so it can be distributed by water-trucks!!
Bakeries and food industry can't work with no power!! This represents a
serious attack on all citizens of Serbia, who, in the very near future, can
end up in total darkness.....
14:33 Norwegian radio reports in the news at 13:00 that
Serbian President Milan Milutinovic has accepted the G-8 plan
in full.
14:31 Italy, RAI 3-TV : A reporter from Albania is sending
footage of a whole row of bunkers on the Yugoslav-Albanian borders which
were destroyed by Nato yesterday. He says
that the Albanian gov't wasn't happy about the gesture.

electricity, water can not be supplied to the city. Hospitals and bakeries
are getting their supplies from water-trucks. City's water reserves at this
moment are only 12,5%.

Explosions were 2 or 3 times stronger than they were on Thursday. By the
way, I live in Block 37 and I can see
everything. At time of explosion, I clearly heard the
sound of breaking glass everywhere in the neighborhood. Our windows were
open, thank God, and the blinds drawn, but my fiancee was nevertheless
thrown out of bed by the blast. The
fire died out after about half an hour, but I think there were
many wounded people because I saw many ambulances

decided by top officials that Nato shall NOT apologize for the civilan
casualties in Yugoslavia - despite the mistakes that have been made. He said
that Nato thinks that apologizing would make them sound like weaklings.

days, and they will discuss the possibility of forbidding Nato to use their

23:15.They were so loud that our children woke up (windows were open). Watch

22:45 I live in Obrenovac and I deny that a power station was hit
here. A power station in Bezanijska Kosa (Belgrade) was hit with 3 missiles,
the same in Lestane with 3 missiles, and Bubanj Potok with two.
22:43 Budapest (Hungary) - They said on the radio that an anonymous warning
was received with a message that, unless Nato tanker planes don't stop
flying over Budapest, they will be shot down.

explosions in the distance were heard.

with 10 missiles altogether. Eyewitnesses insist that a missiles was shot
down over the Zvecka village.

could see smoke columns where things were hit. What are these now, "mute

Eyewitnesses from the spot reported an enormous number of explosion craters,
but we didn't hear anything here!????
18:35 The official institute of sociologic investigations ( C.I.S. ) in
Spain made an inquiry about the opinion of spanish about intervention of
NATO against Yugoslavia.
The results are that only 25 % of spanish people believes that this
intervention was in fact necessary. 56 % think it was not.

between the army and the police in Ivanova Korita. Fortunately, there are no
significant consequences.

direction of Pester plateau. Now, at 16:05, a very loud detonation also from
that direction, then planes flying toward Bosnia.
16:02 Last hight around midnight, they threw 3 Tomahawks on the power
station in Nis, it seems like they destroyed it completely. We just got
power, because we're in the part of the city where the priorities are, but
the info is that power will be scarce. There were more explosions around
13:00 today, but I don't know what was hit. I just heard another explosion,
and planes. They're gone now.
16:01 Makis was hit again, windows are broken in buildings around the water
processing plant. I don't know if that was hit.
16:00 Belgrade - a huge smoke mushroom over Zvezdara. Smoke also from the
center (Army General Headquarters, maybe). I still hear planes. Strong AAA

everything shook! Explosions lasted 13 seconds, I counted.

window I see thick smoke near "Beogradjanka" building. We hear the thunder
of planes for 15 minutes now.
04:05 Beograd - live from the balcony in Visnjicka Banja: the vultures` air
attack has begun. It seems something near the Pancevo road is in question. I
personally saw 2 flashes, the first one was huge, the second one much
weaker, however, 2-4 seconds after that, 4 detonations were heard of such
intensity that 30 minutes later my head is still ringing and I have some
pressure in my ears. The vultures flew over this part of the town for 20
minutes, later I heard a couple of detonaitons from the direction of
Karaburma, from where a small smoke column is rising. That`s all for now,
I`m going to buy some breakfast, to clear my head from this ringing and
pressure. Hold on, Serbs, hold your strength for the counterattack

NATO planes bombed power installations in Nis tonight, so the 3rd biggest
town in Serbia is in darkness now. TV Studio B reported on this, stating
that 5 missiles hit the power installations in the east part of the town,
where a huge fire broke off. Local media report there were no casualties.
ITAR TASS, 02:43 - NATO command admitted `4 planes launched guided missiles
onto the bridge in Varvarin, Yugoslavia on Sunday, between 11:01 and 11:06
GMT`. They claim the
bridge was `a legitimate military target`, because it was located on an
important transport route. As usual, NATO representatives cannot confirmt he
information from Belgrade on the number of civilians killed. Anyway, they
say, NATO never bombs civilian targets deliberately.
