I would appreciate donation you could give.
To help defray the costs of several of my son's heart operations and the
equipment and supplies he now needs to sustain life, I am having an
INTERNET BAKE SALE!
Please help yourself to the following recipe. If you enjoy this
cheesecake and would care to make a donation, one dollar, or more, would
be greatly appreciated. My address follows the recipe.
1 graham cracker or vanilla wafer pie crust (or chocolate wafer)
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 8 ounce carton sour cream
Heat oven to 350 degrees f.
cream together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until very well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat for another minute. Add sour cream,
beat until well mixed ( there should be no streaks of sour cream showing).
Pour mixture into crust. Place the pie pan into a 9 inch cake pan that
is 1/3 full of hot water. (Any size pan that the pie plate fits into
will work. This is not really essential--but I find it keeps the cake
from drying out, and helps prevent cracking on top.) Bake in preheated
oven for 50 minutes. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR. Turn oven off and let cake
stay in the oven for 1 hour longer.
Take cake out and cool. Then refrigerate. You may top the cake fruit if
you like.
Please enjoy this recipe and consider a donation.
Thank you so much!
