Expanded options to be presented for Chicago Fire vs Naaz XI dispute

Committee members,

We received only 3 votes for league management proposal which is short of a majority so after many hours of discussions yesterday, we have come up with the following expanded set of options to present to the two teams to settle this dispute.  Can the committee members please reply asap and let us know if you all agree, disagree or suggest any revisions?

Again, this is a time sensitive matter so please respond asap.  Thanks

Options below

BOTH teams must agree to one of the following 3 options - 

 

1. Split points

2. Replay the whole match (committee will approve a one-time exception for this to happen in September for this very special circumstance)

3. Replay the match starting with the second inning (there was too much chaos in the second inning so it would be unfair to ask Naaz XI to start playing from the 5th over - so they can chase whatever score that Chicago Fire had scored by playing the full second inning)  Note: With this option, both teams MUST play with the same roster as their disputed match (i.e, no changes in roster - if a player is not available for continuation of the 2nd inning then that team will play with less than 11 players - NO NEW players allowed in this match). 

 

If both teams don't agree to one of the above 3 options then committee will impose this result for this match -

 

* Both teams will get 0 points

I disagree with allowing both teams to continue playing from where they left off. If we make an exception now will have to offer it to others teams in the future.

I think the best option is to split points.
