BOTH teams must agree to one of the following three options -
1. Split points
2. Replay the whole match (committee will approve a one-time exception for this to happen in September for this very special circumstance)
3. Replay the match starting with the second inning (there was too much chaos in the second inning so it would be unfair to ask Naaz XI to start playing from the 5th over - so they can chase whatever score that Chicago Fire had scored by playing the full second inning) Note: With this option, both teams MUST play with the same roster as their disputed match (i.e, no changes in roster - if a player is not available for continuation of the 2nd inning then that team will play with less than 11 players - NO NEW players allowed in this match).
Sarti,
Thank you so much for coming up with all possible option. I really appreciate and thank you so much for being fair and honest for both teams.
I am still stick with option 1 as umpire decided this decision as per ACC rule and regulation on the field.
So as we all know that the option 1 decision is already made by umpire and that's why Chicago fire complained about it. I try my best to prove that the allegation made by opponent team was totally false. The fact is that the ground was unplayable that's why the game rain out and point got split between both teams. As you mentioned before that Rizvi sahab talked to umpire as well to find out the truth and I am sure that Rizvi sahab got same info from umpire which I provided before. Thus, this is the reason committee decided to come with option 1 to split the point. So, once again I would like to stick with the decision which umpire made as per ACC rules which is option 1.
If committee will change the decision other than option 1 then what is the point for me to prove everything. I hope committee will understand what I am trying to explain and take the right decision as per ACC rules and regulation which can be example for ACC league in the future.
Please feel free to let me know if have question.
Thank you so much for your kind co-operation and try to resolve this issue in timely manner.
