Galaxy United Vs Villa Park Match report
Here, I would like to submit Umpire's report of today match of September 9, 2014 between Galaxy United and Villa Park
This match was officiate by Mr Humyun Baqai and Mr Rafi Syed .
9:45 am, before the match, I asked only Glaxay's captain Asif to submit the name of their playing squad because Villa Park did not have 7 players on the ground and give the toss to Galaxy United. He mentioned that if Asad did not make to the game our substitute Umair will field in his place. I told the captain that he can field as long as he is in their 20 players roster, I allowed Asif and warned him that he can field as long as he in the 20 player roster of Galaxy United of 2014
As per ACC rules 11.1 Any player who is in roster of 20 can field only.
After the competion18 overs, the captain of Villa Park CC Uzair inform me (Umpire) that his team lodging a protest against substitute fielder Umair. He mentioned the of the protest because of Umair being a guest player.
This protest was lodged after completion of 18 overs..
In the end I allow substitutes player base on ACC rules 11.1
As per my investigation re: player's roster of ACC 2014, I noticed that Mr Umair Mustafa's name is part of their 20 players roster.
As soon as Villa Park lodge their protest Galaxy United removed their 12 th man ( substitute fielder) out of the field.
