Im a singer songwriter. I don't know how i got this email but whatever. I have a few guys together for a project this summer. 5 piece metal band named "Hell and Highwater". We'll be playing around town this summer. Keep an eye out.

this is lady legacy from 1205 productions and vice-president of muse...   i am not affiliated with this "record label seeking unsigned artists" email nor is muse.

 

my suggestion is to continue posting your shows on internet sites such as myspace, soundclick,  insounds, etc.  you, mr. jennings, is more than welcome to post e-flyers or any information concerning your band's shows to our google groups.

 

here's some wisdom for any of you who get these type of emails:

 

the email didn't contain any other information besides contact the sender.   the label?  wut is the name of THIS so called label?  wut is the website url?  who are the label's artists?  are they already registered with soundscan and soundexchange? wut projects have been released...blah, blah, blah...  be careful, there are so many scams going on.

 

let's use our wisdom when people we do not know use our google groups to "promote". 

 

real recognizes real.

 

oh,  thanks to everyone who supported my label and was at tonite's show.  it was important for this to take place. 

 

muse will soon be changing the name of our organization.  upon lawyers advice we will be notifying all original google group members individually.  it will be required for me to know the true members count.  i will be sending out a news update explaining all of this.

i believe the original email (4-16-06) from Dash In Records was not going to provide any help to any unsigned artist. 

 

after investigating the source, i didn't find any information on the internet for such a company.  the source even had the ordacity to tell me it was affiliated with Death Row Records and sent me an "e-threat" that i quickly reported to texas department of public safety's anti-terrorism division.

 

i also report the incident to our club's advisors.

 

i have not heard from this person again.

 

stay posted to our google groups.  i will be sending out some summer information this weekend, providing our club, Music Society, will be able to use some of ACC's facilities to hold a few summer events.  the paperwork was turned in this past friday (6/9/06) and i was told to wait a few days.
