Many have asked for a start list for Saturday’s race. I am still in the process of creating the official start list. Please see a list of registered athletes as of today.
Know that this list could change as registration is open tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

I am excited to see you this weekend in Texas for the 2026 Collegiate Gravel National Championships.
Please see some of the details below that I hope will be helpful.

Parking:
All parking will be located between the intersections of 1st and 2nd street, and Alexander Ave and Bell Ave (see picture provided). The Valley of Tears staff has assured that there will be plenty of room for team set ups, trucks, and trailers. (see photo attached) Yellow square is team parking and red square is start/finish intersection.

 

Packet-pick up:

Packet pick up and late registration will be open
Thursday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm | Packet Pickup @ Hills Sport Shop in Amarillo
Friday: 2:30 - 6:30pm Expo and Packet Pickup/Late Registration Opens

Please turn all collegiate Eligibility Documents to Vanessa Drummond. This can be done at the riders meeting or anytime prior to your race start.

 

Collegiate Rider/Coach Meeting:

Friday: 2:00pm | Meeting will be held near the front entrance of Hotel Turkey | 103 3rd St, Turkey, TX 79261

This will allow us to share some last-minute course details, feed-station details, and answer any other questions you may have.

 

Shake Out Ride: Friday
3:00pm | Shake Out Ride hosted by Castelli (18 miles)

 

Friday Crits:

Valley of Tears has invited all collegiate athletes to participate in Friday night’s crit races. To participate just show up to the finish line with your race number provided for Saturday’s race.

5:30pm | Dirt Crit—Pro Women (20 minutes + 2 laps)

6:05pm | Dirt Crit—Pro Men (20 minutes + 2 laps)

6:40pm | Dirt Crit awards

 

Awards Ceremony:
The Collegiate Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday at 3:15pm.

Collegiate Awards will be recognized as:
Collegiate Men: top 5
Collegiate Women: top 5

Overall Collegiate Team Omnium: top 3

Following the awards ceremony, you are invited to celebrate with BBQ and live music.
