Hi All,

In case you did not attend the USA Cycling Collegiate Webinar tonight, here are some highlights to note:

  • USA Cycling has effectively eliminated the collegiate program director position. Nat Ross, who most recently held the position, is out. Now if you email colle...@usacycling.org it goes to a suite of folks who can hopefully spread the workload around and also get more done. Collegiate will be more integrated within the memberships and programs at USAC as a whole.

  • USAC is requiring eligibility forms twice each season: before the first conference race (ideally all riders) and again prior to Nationals (for those attending). These would be required to be filled out by your school's registrar so it will require some additional planning. This is for EVERY rider, not just those looking to go to nationals.

  • 2025 Collegiate road nats will be in Waterloo/Madison, WI area the first weekend of May. They hinted at a crit around the state capital and a road race and ITT course near the Trek HQ.

  • New scholarships from USAC to be announced this fall

  • New race promotion grants for club teams to be announced this fall

As always, if you've got any questions, feel free to send me an email.

Thanks
