All,
Thanks to everyone that responded - as you can see, Ruth is holding a clinic in Charlottesville on Nov. 20th, and there will be one in Laurel Md on Feb. 5th.
Cost for an officials license is $35 and both MABRA and VCA reimburse you for it; VCA also has a requirement that each team has to supply volunteers/officials for races, so if your non-collegiate team is a member of VCA, you can help them stay in good standing.
I'll work on one for the NC (guys and girls) if you're interested, so you won't have to travel as far.
There is also the option of doing just an ACCC collegiate training day, provided we can work out the time, place etc.; would that be of more interest?

Thx!
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Yes I'm doing a clinic at UVa in Charlottesvillle on Nov. 20. 9 am at my work conference room (1340 Jefferson Park Ave, Charlottesville, 22908) Need to meet me in the lobby at 9 to get on the elevator to the 5th floor (elevators are locked on the weekends). Jim Patton is threatening to come down and make a guest appearance;-)
