I expect that next semester the collegiate categories will go away and USAC will force everyone to use their "regular" categories for races. 

Furthermore, conference directors will no longer handle upgrades.

Good evening Conference Directors,
As you know our team is working towards a closer date for our new license system and how that will look regarding collegiate licenses. In the near future we will be viewing all races licenses under the same category and will not see the separate collegiate race license categories.

To prepare and for this change our team has made the decision to bring all collegiate upgrade and downgrade request fully internally to allow us to do some research on current license needs, processing structure, and best ways to prepare for the new system launch. Effective immediately all upgrade and downgrade requests will be processed to me to review with coaches, riders, and compare to race results and history within the discipline. If you have any riders reach out with questions regarding their categories or the process of an upgrade, please direct them my way.
