Hi all,

Just a reminder of the rule below. If you are supporting athletes in the U23 or Elite UCI races you will be required to have a UCI Support license that you can show when picking up your credentials and at the pit entrance.

As noted in the Tech Guide, we wanted to send a reminder for the Elite, U23, and Junior 18-17 regarding pit passes and pit box allocations for next week's championships.

PIT PASSES

Pit passes are required to gain access to the pit for all races and riders are limited to 2 pit passes, unless otherwise stated below. Passes may be obtained at the registration area of the venue and will be a color-coded wrist band based on the race day.

Holders of pit passes must be present to receive the wrist band.

UCI Categories (Elite, U23)

  • Support staff must hold a UCI Support License to gain access to the pit, which requires Safe Sport Training and a background screening. Director, Mechanic, and Manager licenses will require an MVR. Therefore, please select the Assistant Staff license which only requires Safe Sport and the background screening.

UCI Categories (Junior 17-18)

  • Junior 17-18 only - support staff must hold a USA Cycling license to gain access to the pit.

Collegiate

  • Collegiate teams may request up to 5 pit passes per team.

PIT BOXES

Pit boxes will be allocated by an on-site draw at the times indicated in the tech guide and on the schedule. Representatives for the team and/or the rider(s) must be in attendance for the draw or a pit box will be assigned by the organization.

Teams and support staff may drop equipment in a pit box once all riders in the prior races have cleared the pit.

See you in Fayetteville!

Vanessa
