Hello Friends and Family!
Laura and I send our compassionate wishes and care to everyone during
this frightening and sad time.
We are writing with a one-time, last minute announcement about an online
workshop we are doing this weekend in Compassion Focused Therapy.
We will be conducting a two day training in a "Process Focused Approach to Compassion Focused Therapy.”
Originally planned for a small group in Montreal with Frederick Dionne, the training is now an online streaming
training, and we are opening enrollment to everyone who might be interested.
For more information and registration, here is the link.
Of course, our approach is based on the work of CFT founder Paul Gilbert and colleagues, presenting
an evolutionary model of the emergence of compassion, and exploring compassionate imagery exercises
and psychotherapy techniques for cultivating and awakening compassion for others and ourselves in
therapy and daily life.
We will be taking an experiential approach to training the core competencies of compassion,
looking at how to shape active processes in our work, essentially a process based take on CFT!
We know it’s late in the game, and the finances are tough all over, but since the hosts decided to
take their intimate workshop online, we thought we might open it up to everyone as much as we can.
Hope to see you there! All One. One Love.

PS - Please feel free to join us every morning at 7 AM New York time, to sit together in meditation and mindful compassion practice,
open and free to everyone. Available on Facebook live at dennistirchphd or through a Zoom meeting room.
Contact me directly for the Zoom link, and tell me a little about yourself, if we don’t yet know one another.
Lots of love, DT
Sending Good Wishes,
